On the scent of a bunny....

We all know beagles love to get their noses to the ground, and the Beagle Club Field Days are the perfect opportunity to let them do just that. No traffic to be bothered with, with the added bonus of being in the company of other beagles!

In the past, during the winter months, the Club held Field Days on properties not too far out of Sydney. Unfortunately these properties are no longer available for the Club to use and the Field Days have had to be put on hold for a number of years.

The Club is still on the look out for a suitable property so the Field Days can be held regularly again during the winter months but as yet we have had no success. If you know of a property that might be suitable, please contact the Walks Co-ordinator.

Christmas in July Scent Weekend

The Club holds regular Christmas in July Scent Weekends. The weekend is jointly organised by members of the NSW and Act Beagle Clubs and has proven to be very popular. It is held over one or two days during July.Scenting is thirsty work!!

The current Information Brochure provides all you need to know to come and join the fun (information about dates, times, food, accommodation for you and your beagle, and so on). You can also read reports from previous years.

For beagles, the weekend offers off lead running and sniffing around secure, fenced paddocks, plus the opportunity to socialise with other beagles. For humans, the chance to have a short break and some leisurely exercise in friendly company.

For more information, please contact the organisers, Bernadette (ACT) 0448 812 006 or John (NSW) 0421 653 722 or by email.
